about MADE MILL 681

Located near the center of Japan’s four cardinal points is the Banshu region.
Imparting a nostalgic landscape, this area has been the central location of Japan’s textile industry for over 200 years.
In 1948, Ueyama Orimono opened its factory doors as a textile mill.

Ingrained in the brand name, “MADE MILL 681”, and in each warp and weft yarn is our mission to promote the significance of Japanese fabric to the world,
from here where we continue to produce and supply premium Japanese woven fabric to ateliers and design houses worldwide.
